Privacy Policy

Plain English where we can. Lawyer English where it matters. Short version: your data is yours, we don't sell it, and you can delete it any time.

Effective: May 3, 2026

GoLowr, LLC (“GoLowr,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the GoLowr golf coaching service available at golowr.com and through our mobile and desktop applications (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

GoLowr, LLC is a Tennessee limited liability company. You can reach us through our contact form.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google), we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.

Profile information. You may choose to add additional information to your profile, including handicap, home course, age, gender, and golf goals. This information is optional and is used to personalize the Service.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing information directly. We never receive or store your full credit card number. We do receive limited billing details (name, email, last four digits of card, billing ZIP code, subscription status) so we can manage your subscription.

Swing videos and content you upload. When you upload a swing video, training note, or other content, we store that content on our infrastructure. You retain ownership of the content you upload — see our Terms of Service for details.

Performance and usage data. As you use the Service, we collect data about your activity: swing analyses requested, drills completed, stats tracked, time spent in the app, and features used. This data helps us provide the Service to you and improve coaching quality.

Device and log information. Our servers automatically collect standard log information when you use the Service: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and timestamps. This is used to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.

Communications. When you contact us through the contact form, by email, or through any other channel, we keep a record of those communications.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Generate AI-powered swing analyses, drill recommendations, and coaching content
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing notices, password resets, content you have requested)
  • Send service-related announcements and product updates (you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time)
  • Respond to your messages and provide customer support
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, and fraud
  • Improve the Service through aggregate, de-identified analysis of usage patterns
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Artificial intelligence and your swing videos

GoLowr uses artificial intelligence to analyze your swing videos and generate coaching feedback. To do this, your swing videos and related metadata are processed by Anthropic, our AI provider, under a commercial agreement that prohibits Anthropic from using your data to train its models or for any purpose other than providing the analysis service to GoLowr.

We will not use your individual swing videos to train any AI model without your explicit, separate consent.

5. Service providers and third parties

We share information with the following service providers, each of which is contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to GoLowr:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic — AI swing analysis (see Section 4)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may share information with law enforcement or other government authorities if required to do so by valid legal process (subpoena, court order, etc.) or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.

We may share information in connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If a transaction occurs, we will notify you and provide you with the opportunity to delete your account before your information is transferred.

6. Children’s privacy

GoLowr is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account on behalf of a child under 13 (for example, to use the Service’s Junior Mode). The parent or guardian is responsible for the child’s use of the Service and for ensuring that any content the child contributes is appropriate.

If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 outside of a parent-managed account, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please reach us through our contact form.

7. California residents

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, reach us through our contact form. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right.

We do not sell or “share” (as defined under CCPA) personal information.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or behavioral tracking pixels.

For the full list of cookies we set and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and provide a cookie consent option.

9. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data, swing videos, and personally identifiable information from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We may retain de-identified, aggregated analytics data indefinitely.

10. Your rights and choices

You can:

  • Access and update your account information at any time through your account settings
  • Download a copy of your swing videos and coaching content from your account settings
  • Delete your account at any time through your account settings; this removes your account and content from our active systems
  • Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
  • Contact us through our contact form for any privacy-related request

We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days).

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews of our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never gain access. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

12. International users

GoLowr currently serves users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, by a notice in the Service, or both, before the changes take effect. The “Effective” date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last updated.
